Michele teaches piano, flute, recorder and voice! All lessons are 30 minutes.

Michele teaches students music to enhance their education, but also helps with performance skills!

Music For Little Mozarts

This program designed for children ages 4 through 6 to provide a balance between the discipline necessary for playing instruments and the enjoyment of making music. Music for Little Mozarts incorporates singing, piano and movement.

 Studio Policies

Sessions

The music studio year is divided into 4 semesters: Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer (see summer options below). Notice will be given if the studio is closed.

 Summer Session

Students attending the Summer Semester are automatically reserved a time in the fall schedule. Students who drop out for any reason will lose their reserved lesson time and will have to reapply as new students.

 Tuition

30 minute private lessons - $16.50 per lesson, times the number of lessons in the session.

Tuition is due in full, on the first lesson of each semester.

 Practice

Please ask Michele for an appropriate practice schedule for your child. Parents of beginning students under the age of 10 are encouraged to attend lessons. It is also helpful if parents assist the student at home on a daily basis with practice.

 Recitals

There are two main performance events each year, one in the spring and one around winter break. All students are expected to attend these recitals.

 Pianos

Pianos should be tuned at least once a year. Keyboards are allowed for students use at home, however it is encouraged that after one year of successful piano lessons, the family purchase a piano.

 Cancellations

Lessons may be rescheduled under the following reasons ONLY:

• Hazardous driving weather (parents must call before lesson time).

• Illness of student or parent (parents must call before lesson time).

• Death in the family.

 Please try to re-schedule the lesson the week the lesson is missed.

 • There will be no rescheduling for lessons missed because of conflicts with sports, cheerleading, school activities, social activities, vacations or problems with transportation.

 Books

Traditional piano and flute students will have their books purchased by Michele. Parents purchase voice and Music For Little Mozart Books.
