| About Michele
Michele VanHoose is a vocalist, pianist and flutist. She holds two undergraduate degrees from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Sacred Music and Communications.
Now living in the St. Louis area, Michele maintains a large private music studio in her home, where she teaches piano, flute and voice.
Michele is a performing jazz vocalist and can be seen regularly with the "Joe Willett Jazz Ensemble" and with the "DNA Jazz."
Michele is Music Director at "Unity Church of Peace" in St. Louis where she directs two singing groups, the "Prosperity Singers", a contemporary vocal group performing mostly chants and joy songs and the "Unity Singers", a choir of mixed voices, performing anthems on special occasions.
Michele also teaches 3, 4 and 5 year old children music at St. Lucas Preschool.
Michele and the members of her immediate family (daughter Aubrey plays drums, son Andrew plays Bass, husband Joel, plays guitar) perform music together at Wenwood Farm Winery and other venues.
